The Advanced Systems for the Home Division of Fagor Electrodomésticos developed an application to migrate its current proprietary home automation system (Bus Domótico Fagor) to the European KONEX/EHS protocol. The migration application included a solution for the home automation appliance line the company manufactures. This involved a modular development that facilitates the fast, user-friendly migration of the rest of the home automation appliances currently found in the Fagor catalogue.

Solution provided

Based on client specifications, the following tasks were performed:

• Development of software for the BMF (Multi-point FAGOR Bus, according to its initials in Spanish) gateway to KONEX/EHS.
• Display and optimization tools.

The system has the following characteristics:

• Communications gateway for the KONEX/EHS environment.
• Display tools and commands for activation/deactivation of Refrigerator and Freezer functions.
